Live in a geological area where coliform are common in well water. Installed this UV light and received bacteria free result from state water test lab, after two coliform positive tests before the UV. did install myself, easy and straight forward. You do have to run copper or metal for the first 10 inches off the UV Housing. I was not aware how quick UV breaks down PEX. Read up on this to make sure you get the right material close to the housing. Is also recommended to have a 5 micron filter before the UV light.
I am happy with the light, is effective and seems well built. Was also significantly less cost than plumbing or home improvement stores.

Item was as advertised and was delivered on time. I purchased an identical product from another manufacturer last year which never worked correctly. So far, the Bluonics product is working well.
I am pleased with the 55 Watt UV light system. It fits well in my off grid well set up. I have installed it in the well casing for convenience and to prevent freezing, and it works great on a small inverter, tied to a charge controller, with a small (2- 12v battery) storage bank.
Ordered the UV light at a much better price than I could find locally and it arrived in 4 days.
It appears to be working perfectly and I am very pleased with both the product and the service.

We live on well water and get coliform in the water. Now we no longer have to treat the well. All our tests come back clean now. It was easy to install and maintaining is nothing more then a new light once a year.
