The compact 6W UV system can be installed as an add-on above a reverse osmosis unit or used as a stand-alone point-of-use UV treatment system. This set includes one 6W four-prong UV lamp and one closed-end quartz sleeve.
The quartz sleeve protects the UV lamp from direct contact with water while allowing UV light to pass through the chamber. For consistent system performance, replace the lamp approximately every 12 months or 9,000 operating hours and inspect the sleeve regularly for cloudiness, scratches, or damage.
