This is a seriously great combo. This water filtration system with UV is the best deal around, trust me I over shop everything. I compared so many different units from different sources that I forgot to use a discount code I found online during my checkout. Honestly it has been a pleasure to buy and install. The service center at Bluonics is so good they even applied my discount a few days later when I noticed I forgot to enter it during purchasing it and emailed them, no questions asked and it was done. I couldn’t believe they did but that’s awesome and is the reason I filled out this review. Buy from this excellent company everybody.

Great Customer Service

When I first tried to install the unit the inlet water connection leaked. I contacted customer support and after troubleshooting they sent a new elbow connector, The new elbow arrived quickly and after I replaced the original, all is well. I've only used the unit for several hours now but it is working great..

Consider Reverse Osmosis System

I was shorted one of the blue clips that secures the line. I also had to contact customer service as I didn't realize that I have to bleed 12 seconds of warm water before being able to experience cool water due to the radiant heat from the UV bulb. If you can live with waiting for cool water and don't mind a little waisted water the product is decent, easy to install and appears to work. In retrospect, I wish I had given more consideration into purchasing the reverse osmosis system. You should too.

Just installed it and will try to submit an updated review after this summer's use.

If this combination works it will be a tremendous asset for our summer camp on a lake where we pull water from the lake as we have done for over 90 years. I installed a large sediment filter (50 micron) directly after the pressure tank so the 4-stage Bluonics system has filtered water going to it. I found the installation manual lacking in four areas: 1) the manual has a whole section on plumbing in the waste water line when in fact this system is not a reverse osmosis system , 2) the manual makes no mention of the plugs in the quick connects for the intake and discharge lines. The plugs make sense, but they are inserted with force and after determining that they were indeed plugs they were difficult to pull out. 3) the adapter fittings for the supply line were no help and I ended up having to sweat on new fitting to the copper supply and built my own tee with valves. 4) The 3/8 threaded supply shut off valve supplied with the kit needs a quick disconnect coupling like the one supplied for the faucet, but there was only one of those in the kit. The manual makes no mention of the connection to the valve. I have subsequently seen online that it appears this shut-off valve is new and the one that was previously used was one with a 3/8 pipe thread on one end and a 1/4 inch compression fitting on the other end. This is the type of valve I ended up using so I could make the connection.

The manual does mention that the 4-Stage under sink system requires 30-50 psi. I was ready to change my pressure switch from our 20-40 ,but the delivery pressure is fine. I will likely not make the change if the system seems to continue to function fine.

Our initial use of the filter is encouraging - the water tastes great. The lake is a reservoir for a small town so the water is essentially quite clean and good, but having the filters and UV treatment does provide some extra measure of assurance.
