Please note: If you find any moisture inside the glass tube, replace the quartz sleeve before changing the ballast.

It has only been 2 weeks since I installed. I like the countdown display and it is working well. I am optimistic that the improvements made will make it last years instead of months as the previous model did for me.

Thanks to Bluonics for providing these well made UV ballasts that include a countdown timer! I purchased two to use on my older existing UV water filtration that had its original UV ballast finally burn out and one as a spare. Really glad to have found these online and at a very reasonable price! They appear to be well made and look forward to keeping my water UV clean for a long time to come! Thank you Bluonics!!!

Great new U/V ballast!

These new ballasts with the countdown timer work great and remind you when your bulb needs to be replaced. Be certain to use a surge protector on your electrical outlet using this ballast. Also, be sure to unplug the ballast if you are using a generator for power such as during an outage, as the generator surging will cause this ballast to blink red indicating it could fail. Great product at a fair price!

Have a well on a piece of property that has a lot of horses on it, cowgirl husbands will know what I am talking about. Very happy with the product as well as the service, I have several of these units and will shop here again!
