Bluonics customer for about 6 years now. Wanted just the Mineral Ball Filter but was told it only fits their system. Wrong. Can be adapted to any system w/ 1/4”” tubing conn’s. Ordered the RO unit and the Min Ball Filter. 1st thing, instructions state that filters must be flushed? Brand new filters in packaging w/ housings and tubing all in factory plastic have to be flushed? Next, the system diagram flow chart shows a HP pump? No pumps are used? Not sure why it shows an electric pump but it refers to mounting the unit close to an electrical outlet I assume in case you purchase UV? Instructions could use some more info and a re write. Also doesn’t include any info on air psi in the accumulator tank? What’s factory setting and what should be used for individual systems based on the pump pressure? Instructions also state to flush the tank before use? Is it not pristine from the factory? The troubleshooting guide also gives several mentions to pump operation, pump noise, transformer burnt out, but the system doesn’t have any of these items? Lots of questions here and info is vague at best. We have a cistern system using Ozone and the Bluonics 3 stage 20” filters w/ UV and our water is pristine. Filters are top quality and last a long time. Water is tested every quarter. We’ve never flushed new filters before using, they’re new and clean. Overall the quality seems to be what we expected from Blue but the unit hasn’t been put on line yet so I’ll update when that happens. Also, the Min Ball filter doesn’t include any paperwork, (pretty simple install), but the 2 clamps provided don’t fit the in line carbon filter so the Min Ball filter just goes where ever it goes. Against the bracket or towards the front of the unit based on tubing length. One last thing that we questioned, the instructions state not to cover the RO filter unit as this could lead to heat build up and fire? What? Fire from what? From filtering water? Not quite sure of this reference…. Bob
