Reverse Osmosis Water Purifiers
Reverse Osmosis also knows as RO is one of the most effective water treatment process that will provide clean, great-tasting drinking water for your home or business.
Bluonics reverse osmosis is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove impurities from water. Some benefits of using reverse osmosis at home include:
- Improved drinking water quality: Reverse osmosis can remove a wide range of impurities, including bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and chemicals, making it an effective way to improve the quality of your drinking water.
- Reduced risk of waterborne illnesses: By removing harmful contaminants from your water, reverse osmosis can help reduce the risk of waterborne illnesses such as cholera, typhoid, and dysentery.
- Convenience: Reverse osmosis systems can be installed under the sink, making it convenient to have clean, purified water on demand.
- Cost savings: While the initial cost of a reverse osmosis system may be higher than other water filtration options, it can save money in the long run by reducing the need to buy bottled water.
- Environmental benefits: Using a reverse osmosis system can also help reduce plastic waste by eliminating the need for disposable water bottles.

If you're looking for an affordable filtration system that will provide you with quality water, Reverse Osmosis can be a great system for you that is highly effective and low maintenance.
There are 4 factors that you need to consider before buying a water filter system:
- Water Pressure: Do I need a booster pump? Most RO units need at least 45 psi to operate correctly. If your pressure is lower than this, you might look for a RO with a Booster pump similar to this Bluonics 5-stage RO with a booster pump.
- Filtration Quality: The quality of RO filters can be measured by the total dissolved solids (TDS) of the filtered water against the source water. A regular RO removes up to 99% of over 1000 contaminants, including lead, chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, nitrates, and more.
- Flow Rate: Reverse Osmosis has a gallon per day (GPD) number that refers to the amount of water a unit can filter per day at an optimum condition. In most cases, the amount is about 10-20% lesser as stated.
-
UV & Alkaline add-ons: You have the option to buy a system with these add-ons. Ultraviolet light is the most effective method for disinfecting and treating 99.9% of virus, germs and bacteria such as E coli, coliform, Giardia, and Salmonella. UV will give you an additional level of purification for your drinking water, especially recommended for well water sources.
Alkaline adds needed minerals back in your drinking water.
